Eye of Horus Liquid Metals

Yesterday, I had a lovely little surprise package from Eye of Horus (EOH) show up at my front door. I've tried a few of their products in the past, and I particularly love the Dynasty Dual Brow Perfect brow pencil of theirs. So, when the range of their Liquid Metals liquid eyeliners showed up, I was a little excited!

The Liquid Metals are, like I said, liquid eyeliners. They come in a range of four colours, and have a bright metallic sheen. When I swatched these, I said "WOW" - it seriously looks like foil on your skin. Most of the colours applied really evenly, but the gold one did need a few more strokes to get an even finish. The felt-tip applicator was super easy to use, and I found I was able to get both thin and thick lines very effortlessly.

The four shades are:

  • 'Ancient Pewter' (silver)
  • 'Alchemy Gold' (gold)
  • 'Imperial Bronze' (bronze)
  • 'Copper Sphinx' (copper)

You can buy them from their website for $33.00 each. As they are what I would consider 'expensive' (at nearly three times the price of what you'd find at the drugstore), I'd recommend just trying one shade at a time. 'Copper Sphinx' would have to be my favourite so far!
