Being part of Maybelline's M:Edition bloggers, I was extremely lucky to be invited to attend the Weekend Edition of this years Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!

I boarded my train from Newcastle to Redfern early in the morning, and arrived at around 11am to meet up with the other girls invited, Dominique Amor, Rachel Lee and Caroline Power. We were immediately met with a lovely girl from Maybelline who took us on a guide through the event.

First, we went an saw a Maybelline Makeup Class, held by Nigel Stanislaus, Maybelline's Makeup Director. He spoke about and demonstrated some of the makeup trends that designers were asking for during Fashion Week.

After this session, we were swept away to a backstage tour of the entire show! First we were taken to the makeup and styling rooms, where models were actually getting ready as we went through. We also got to see Nigel live in action again.

After the show, we hung around the Star Lounge for a bit and had some drinks and talked about EVERYTHING lol. We all had such a great day, and we are so grateful to be working with such a cool and involved brand - thanks for this awesome experience Maybelline!
